Delete Account Guide

Use this page to request deletion of your NERD account and personal data.

Meta app review URL: This page can be used as the User Data Deletion URL for Meta app setup.

Option 1: Delete From the App

Open the NERD app.
Go to Settings.
Open Account or Profile settings.
Select Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion request.

Option 2: Email a Deletion Request

If you cannot access the app, email support@nerdapp.jo with the subject line: NERD Account Deletion Request.

Please include the email address or phone number connected to your NERD account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting data.

Meta Login Data Deletion

If you signed in with Meta, you can also remove NERD from your Meta account settings:

Open Facebook or Meta account settings.
Go to Apps and Websites.
Select NERD.
Remove the app connection.

Removing the Meta app connection stops future Meta sign-in access. To delete NERD account data stored by us, use Option 1 or Option 2 above.

What We Delete

Account profile information.
Authentication links to supported sign-in providers.
Personal preferences and account settings.
User-generated content where deletion is allowed by law and platform rules.

What May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, or financial recordkeeping obligations. Retained data is limited and no longer used for ordinary account activity.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law, safety review, or fraud prevention.
